Maggie began her IT career at C.E.G.B. as a programmer and quickly progressed through various technical management roles. In 1989 Maggie moved to PowerGen; in 1998 she was appointed general manager of PowerGenIT. In 2001 Maggie moved to AXA, initially as IT Commercial Manager, and later ‘UK Head of IT Services’. Recently, Maggie undertook the role of Interim Chief Executive for itSMF UK and International. Maggie is now an independent Strategic Consultant.
Maggie is a Fellow of the Institute of Service Management, a Chartered IT Professional and a Chartered Engineer. Maggie is currently a member of BCS Council and Chairman of the IT Service Management Forum UK.

Outside of BT, Ronan has been involved with the UK Oracle User Group for over 10 years and has been Chairman of that group for 8 of those years. This period has seen significant growth for the group and its acknowledgment on the global stage as one of the most active and influencial groups due to its policy of total inclusion and focus on growning a successful Oracle community and economy. Ronan is also involved with the International Oracle User Council and the Strategic Supplier Relationships Group. |

Denise Plumpton

Denise Plumpton started her career as an operational research analyst, moving to the software and services company, Istel where she held a variety of roles. In 1989 she joined Powergen overseeing the merger of Powergen’s IT department with the IT team supporting East Midlands Electricity. Denise later became IT Director of TNT UK Limited, followed by a period with British mobile phone company, Sendo and then the Highways Agency in January 2005 as Director of Information. Her primary focus has been the development and implementation of the Agency’s Information Strategy, with the launch of a dedicated Traffic Radio service and enhanced travel information to customers.
Denise is also a non-executive Director of the Heart of Birmingham Primary Care Trust and is a member of the Strategy Board of IT user group The Corporate IT Forum (Tif).

David Tidey

David Tidey graduated from the University of Exeter with a degree in Physics and Chemistry in 1982. He joined the Greater London Council (GLC) as a Management Trainee, where he discovered computers.
He moved to the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, just before the GLC was abolished where he has undertaken a number of roles both outside and within the IT department.
He currently is the Head of Information Systems responsible for all aspects of IT and telecommunications.
David has been a BCS member for over 15 years and is currently the Chair of the BCS/Elite group.
